This course provides an overview and understanding of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and developmental trauma disorder (DTD) and the connection to addiction. Students will discover how arts-based approaches informed by neuroscience can assist their clients to restore a sense of emotional and psychological safety as well as engaging in the present moment.
